COACH'S QUOTE
"Despite a long week of finals and dealing with the normal challenges of illnesses that the season brings, I thought we competed especially well this weekend. Both James and Makenna showed great early season strength and confidence in their mile victories. Alex and Gabby both performed well in the 60 and 200. I'm always pleased when our veterans and leaders come out of the gate ready to go," said head coach
Matt Belfield. "MegAnne's performance in the 3K, leading the whole way and finishing with something left is very promising. Our men in the heptathlon (Jackson, Vaughn and Eben) all had three good or very good events to finish day two with solid point totals. Kudos to Gianna for getting her first collegiate victory in the triple jump as well. A well deserved break awaits our teams and staff. We will recharge and get back to an exciting indoor season next month."
