A total of 12 athletes with ties to the University of Vermont competed in the 2018 Winter Olympic Games in PyeongChang, South Korea, including a school-record nine former or current UVM student-athletes. The mark of nine Catamount Olympians surpassed the previous school record of six during the 1988 Winter Olympics in Calgary.
