GRADUATE INDOOR SEASON (2025): Started at the Early Bird Invite (Dec. 7) running the 5000m, placing 4th. At the Middlebury Winter Classic (Jan. 18), she ran the 800m and 1 mile and placed 1st in both! At the Scarlet Knight Open (Jan. 31), ran the 3000m and placed 2nd. Big Apple Invitational (Feb. 8), ran the 1000m, placing 1st with 2:55.95 and got 5th in the 4x400m relay. At the American East Championships (Feb. 22), she ran a mile and placed first again with a time of 4:52.77. She also did the 3000m where she got 22nd.
BEFORE VERMONT: Transfers to Vermont after four years at Radford University … From Jeffersonville, VT … Competed in cross country, track, and Nordic skiing at Lamoile Union High School … Four-time state champion in the 1000, 3K and 1500 … All-state for skiing in 2020 … Holds the distance medley record for the Big South conference and at Radford … First-team all-conference in cross country in 2023 … Also holds the school record in the 1000 and has top-10 times in the 800, 1500, mile, 3K, 5K in track … Holds top-10 times in cross country at Radford in the 4K, 5K, and 6K.
PERSONAL: Daughter of Terry and PeggyAnne Gilmore … Father Terry ran cross country and track and field at UVM … Chose UVM because of the proximity to home as well as her connections to the school through her family … Will be working on her Doctorate of Physical Therapy.
