ALBANY, N.Y. - The Vermont women's basketball team wraps up the regular season at Albany. Tipoff is scheduled for 2 p.m. from SEFCU Arena. The game can be heard on WVMT-620 AM (online: SportsJuice.com) with Kevin Fitzgerald calling the action. The game will also be streamed online for free via AmericaEast.tv.
The Catamounts are 2-3 in their last five games and coming off a 72-64 loss to UMass Lowell on Wednesday.. Vermont stands at 5-22 overall and 2-13 in America East. Albany is in second place in America East with a 13-2 conference mark and a 20-8 overall record. The Great Danes have won five of their last six games, including a 65-50 win at Hartford on Wednesday.

The Great Danes led from the tip, building a 16-5 lead at the 13:42 mark of the first half ... The Catamounts trimmed the lead to five on back-to-back 3-pointers from Kayla Burchill (team-high 11 points), but Albany used a 12-2 spurt to push its lead to 13 and took a 39-22 advantage into the break. The Great Danes used a 7-0 spurt midway through the second half spurt to extend their lead to 24 and cruised to the win.
