2011-12 SEASON: Played in 28 games and started 16, including the final 11 of the year … Averaged 8.3 points and 4.3 rebounds per game … Shot 36.7 percent from 3-point range, draining 62 3-pointers, the sixth most in a single season at Vermont … Was the second leading scorer among rookies in the conference (23rd overall) … Led all freshmen in 3-point field goal percentage and was second overall among the league leaders … Led America East in 3-pointers made per game (2.2) … Reached double figures in scoring 10 times … Posted her first career double-double with 14 points and 10 rebounds in a win at Stony Brook … Scored a career-high 20 points versus No. 15 Georgetown, sank a career-high six 3-pointers in the game … made three or more 3-pointers 10 times … Scored 15 points (5-for-8 from 3-point range) and added eight rebounds in the America East Quarterfinals versus Albany.

BEFORE VERMONT: Burchill comes to Vermont from Portland, Maine and Deering High School. She was a 1,000-point scorer and led Deering to a record of 79-7 during her high school career … Burchill was named Miss Maine Basketball in 2011 and led the league in scoring, averaging 22.6 points per game ... A two-time Maine All-Star 3-Point Shooting Contest Champion, she led Deering to a pair of state championships and four regional finals ... She was a four-time SMAA All-Star, including the SMAA Player of the Year as a senior ... She also garnered all-state honors from the Portland Press Herald and Bangor Daily News over her final three seasons.
