DURHAM, N.H. - The Vermont women's basketball team travels to New Hampshire for a Wednesday night matchup at Lundholm Gymnasium. Tipoff is set for 7 p.m. The game can be heard on WVMT-620 AM (online: SportsJuice.com) with Kevin Fitzgerald on the call. The game will also be streamed online for free via AmericaEast.tv.
The Catamounts are coming off a 72-66 win over Binghamton on Saturday. Vermont picked up its first league win of the year and stands at 4-19 overall and 1-10 in America East. New Hampshire owns a record of 14-9 overall and is 6-5 in America East after a 69-55 loss at UMBC on Saturday.

Sydney Smith scored a team-high 21 points and Kayla Burchill added 15 points to lead Vermont to a 72-66 win over Binghamton at Patrick Gymnasium ... Vermont snapped a 12-game losing streak and picked up its first league win of the year ... Smith came off the bench to make four 3-pointers and added six rebounds and three blocks ... Burchill also drained four shots from beyond the arc and scored 11 of her points in 11 minutes of the first half ... Katie Lavelle chipped in 10 points, matching her career high and Niki Taylor grabbed a game-high 11 rebounds ... Binghamton trailed by on with 9:58 left in the game, but Vermont put together a 13-0 run, fueled by nine points from Smith, to push out to a 65-51 lead ... The Bearcats closed within five twice in the final 1:30, but the Catamounts were able to secure the win.

New Hampshire has lost four straight, including a 69-55 loss at UMBC on Saturday ... Sydney Smith scored a game-high 18 points and grabbed seven rebounds for Vermont, but UNH held off a late rally by the Catamounts to post a 64-56 win. Smith was one of five Catamounts with at least seven rebounds as UVM dominated the boards, out rebounding UNH 48-32. Kylie Butler and Emilie Cloutier added eight points and seven rebounds each. UNH placed five players in double figures, led by Elizabeth Belanger's 14 points. UVM closed to within four on a basket by Cloutier with 1:15 left in the game, but UNH was able to hold off the Catamounts with a 4-for-4 effort from the foul line in the closing seconds.
BURCHILL BUSTS OUT
Senior Kayla Burchill has reached double figures in the last two games and is averaging 16.5 points per game in the last two outings ... She scored a season-high 18 points, grabbed five rebounds and handed out four assists in a loss to Stony Brook ... She added 15 points and four rebounds in UVM's win over Binghamton ... Burchill is shooting 44.4 percent from 3-point range (8-for-18) in the last two contests.
M.A.S.H. UNIT
Head coach Lori Gear McBride has not has a healthy roster for one game this season ... Sophomore Kristina White, third leading scorer from a year ago, suffered an ACL injury in the second game of the season ... Freshman Sydney Smith missed three games with a foot injury ...
