LEXINGTON, Va. – Senior
Hally Laney defended her 200 Fly America East title with a program and pool record while classmate
Ella Church earned the Dave Alexander Coaches' Award, given to the swimmer in America East with the most career points. Vermont finished with 637 points for third while New Hampshire took home first with 782 points. 637 points is Vermont's second-highest total ever when competing in a seven-team league.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Ella Church kicked off the final evening of competition for the Catamounts earning All-Conference honors in the 1650 Free for the fourth straight season. She placed second overall in a time of 16:56.76.
- UNH's Lydia Hart won her third event of the meet with a conference record time of 16:14.71.
- In the next event the 200 Back a pair of Catamounts earned in All-Conference honors. Julie Salvador was second in a time of 2:02.68 and Jocelyn LeGere was third just .38 seconds behind her teammate.
- The Catamounts continued their All-Conference run in the 100 Free. Jackie House was third in the event with a time of 50.35 earning All-Conference honors in the event for the second time in her career.
- Laney defended her title in the 200 Fly in the final individual event of the night. Her time of 2:00.36 was 1.01 seconds faster than anyone else in the field.
- In the 400 Free Relay the Catamounts finished third with a program record time of 3:23.47. House, Havana Layton, Laney and Anastazja Szukala combined to set the new program mark in the final race of the 2024-25 season.
- Church is the second Catamount in program history to receive the Coaches' Award. Colleen Clark '10 also received the award in 2010.
