COACH'S QUOTE
"UNH did a great job coming out with a lot of energy and being the aggressors, so we had to regroup and focus on the things that we can control," said Mayer Women's Head Coach Alisa Kresge. "We got to keep getting better and execute better on both sides of the floor."

  • The two teams traded baskets to open the third quarter, with New Hampshire holding an 11-10 advantage. Hanson had six points that stretch, while Priede and Gilwee each had two.
  • Following the third media timeout, the Wildcats went on a 7-2 run over the next two minutes, with Olson being the lone Catamount to score, forcing a Vermont timeout.
  • After the timeout, the Catamounts closed the third quarter on a 6-0 run, with Priede, Olson, and Hanson all scoring.
  • Vermont began the fourth quarter with a slight advantage as they outscored New Hampshire, 6-5, heading into the final media timeout. Priede had four, and Hanson had two in the stretch.
