FINAL SCORE: Vermont 68, Saint Michael's 34
BURLINGTON, Vt. – Senior Jadyn Weltz scored 13 points in her debut as a Catamount as the Vermont women's basketball team took a 68-34 victory against Saint Michael's at home Thursday night in their final exhibition game before regular season play starts.
COACH'S QUOTE
"For the most part, most possessions we were pretty decent," said Mayer Women's Head Coach Alisa Kresge. "There was one lapse, not staying disciplined, and I thought that's where they capitalized…kudos to them on capitalizing on our mistakes. But I think if we can clean up those couple of mistakes, the scoring is even less. That's the area I want us to get better at, staying disciplined for 30 seconds, if it takes 30 seconds."
