WOMEN'S SOCCER NOTEBOOK
Vermont (8-5-1, 2-3-1 AE) will host NJIT (6-5-5, 2-3-1) on Sunday afternoon in a critical America East matchup at Virtue Field for their annual Senior Day presented by UVM Health Advantage. Kickoff is scheduled for 1 p.m. and the game will be broadcast live on ESPN+ with Brian McLaughlin on the call. The international stream for the game will also be available via AmericaEast.TV.

SENIOR DAY pres. UVM HEALTH ADVANTAGE
Sunday afternoon's contest will be senior day for six Catamounts.

Jazlyn Oviedo,
Laney Ross and
Olivia White are the six seniors who will be graduating in May 2024. Sunday is set up to be one of the final games of their career at Virtue Field.
SENIOR MOMENTS
The Catamounts have gotten a number of contributions from their seniors this season, led by Brody who has registered a goal and an assist this season. Knobel has also added an assist for the Catamounts this season while Ross has served as an anchor at captain starting and playing all 14 games for UVM. White has also been an anchor on the backend for the Catamounts starting 12 games at right back and the only game she did not play ended in a 2-0 loss at Binghamton.
ATOP THE AMERICA EAST
Kate Bossert currently ranks fourth in the America East with 36 total shots and is third in the conference with 21 shots on goal. Her nine goals scored this season and 20 total points both rank second in America East. Her three game-winning goals are also second in the conference.
Bailey Ayer is second in America East play with five assists and is fifth in points with 11.
DEFENDING VIRTUE FIELD
Vermont is 5-1-1 at Virtue Field this season with their lone loss coming 1-0 against Bryant on Thursday, September 28. In those seven games the Catamounts have outscored their opponents 18-7 and have not allowed more than one goal in a game at Virtue Field this season. In conference play the Catamounts are 1-1-1 at Virtue Field and have outscored their opponents 7-3 in those three games.
SCOUTING THE HIGHLANDERS
NJIT enters Sunday's matchup after falling 1-0 at New Hampshire on Sunday (Oct. 15) afternoon. This season NJIT has outscored their opponents 22-18 while outshooting their opponents 217-175 including an 87-63 shots on goal advantage. The Highlanders are led by sophomore Briana Andreoli who has 11 points on four goals and three assists. Gabby Zalot is second on the team with nine points and has played and started in 14 of 15 games with two goals and a team-high five assists. Samantha Constantine is anchoring the net for the Highlanders, registering 36 total saves with a .720 save percentage and a 1.12 goals against average in all 15 games.
INSIDE THE SERIES
This will be the fourth matchup between the Highlanders and the Catamounts with Vermont holding a 2-1-0 advantage all time. The first meeting between the two teams came during the covid shortened 2020-2021 season where Vermont claimed a 2-1 victory on the road. In that game

WHO'S NEXT
Following Sunday's matchup with the Highlanders, the Catamounts will travel to take on UAlbany on the road on October 26th for their season finale. The start time for that game is scheduled for 7 p.m. and the game will be broadcast live on ESPN+. The game will also be available on AmericaEast.TV for the international stream.
