The Catamounts (8-4-1, 2-2-1 AE) will travel to New York to play America East leading Binghamton (4-4-5, 3-0-2 AE) on Sunday afternoon at 1 p.m. The game will be broadcast live on ESPN+ and the international stream will be available via AmericaEast.TV.

TOP 100 IN THE NATION
Kate Bossert is currently tied for 35th nationally in game-winning goals (three), tied for 46th for total points (20) and tied for 27th in total goals (nine).
Bailey Ayer is tied for 78th in the nation in assists with five.
Erin Murphy has been an anchor in net for the Catamounts starting and playing eight games while being tied for 28th in the country in saves per game (5.50) and her .816 save percentage is ranked 72nd nationally.
AMERICA EAST HONORS
This season Vermont has earned four different America East weekly awards.
Kylee Carafoli was named Co-Defensive Player of the Week (week of Aug. 28) and Murphy earned Defensive Player of the Week (week of Sept. 5). In back-to-back weeks the Catamounts have had a player named Offensive Player of the Week. Bossert earned her first America East weekly honor garnering Offensive Player of the Week for the week of Oct. 9. Bossert scored two second half goals to help lead Vermont to back-to-back America East victories defeating UMBC 3-0 on the road on Sunday (Oct. 8) afternoon. Graduate student
Frances O'Donnell earned the honor the week before after her two goal, five point, performance in a 6-1 victory over UMass Lowell.
AMONG THE TOP OF AMERICA EAST
Bossert currently ranks fourth in the America East with 34 total shots and is second in the conference with 20 shots on goal. Her nine goals scored this season is tied for the America East lead and her 20 points is ranked second. Her three game-winning goals are also second in the conference.
Bailey Ayer is tied for first in America East play with five assists and is fifth in points with 11.
Erin Murphy is second in the conference in save percentage (.815) and is first in saves per game at 5.50. Her 44 saves is eighth in the conference, despite her playing less games than any other eligible goalkeeper and her 1.250 goals against average is fourth in America East.
STREAKING
The Catamounts carry a three game unbeaten streak into Sunday's matchup with Binghamton. Over those three games Vermont defeated UMass Lowell and UMBC before battling to a draw with fourth place New Hampshire. Over those three games Vermont has gotten contributions from all over and have outscored their opponents 10-2.

Erin Murphy has been solid in net, playing all 270 minutes while racking up 13 saves, an .867 save percentage, a .667 goals against average and one clean sheet. This is the second time this season the Catamounts have gone unbeaten in at least three games.
SCOUTING THE BEARCATS
Binghamton enters Sunday's matchup as the top seed in America East while having not lost a league game yet this year. Binghamton last played on Sunday, October 8 in a 2-0 road victory over UMass Lowell. Binghamton is 2-1-2 at home and 2-3-3 on the road this season and have outscored their opponents 17-16 overall while outshooting them 190-161 and registering 83 corners to their opponents 51. The Bearcats have outscored opponents 8-4 in conference play and are led by senior Lexi Vegoda who has four goals and four assists for a total of 12 points. Her goals scored is sixth in the conference and her assists are tied for third. Sophomore Lauren Clark is tied for first on the team with four goals as well, while graduate student Olivia McKnight is tied for the team lead with four assists. Kaitlyn Williams has been strong in net for the Bearcats starting and playing all 13 games with 56 total saves, a .778 save percentage and 1.24 goals against average.
INSIDE THE SERIES
This will be 23rd all-time matchup between the two teams with the Bearcats holding a 12-10 advantage over the Catamounts. However, Vermont holds the longest winning streak in the series having won five straight games from 2015-2018. Binghamton has won the last four matchups including a 6-1 victory over Vermont at Virtue Field in 2022. In their previous 22 matchups the Catamounts have been outscored 34-29 by Binghamton and on the road, they have only been outscored 18-17 in 11 matchups in Vestal. In those 11 meetings the Catamounts are 5-6 on the road against Binghamton.
WHAT'S NEXT
Following Sunday's matchup with Binghamton the Catamounts will have a week off before returning to Virtue Field for their home finale against NJIT. The contest with the Highlanders will be the Catamounts annual Senior Day presented by UVM Health Advantage. Start time for the game is scheduled for 1 p.m. and will be broadcast live on ESPN+ with Brian McLaughlin on the call. Following the conclusion of the game, there will be a ceremony presented by UVM Alumni Association at midfield for all graduating seniors.
