Delaney Richason had a career-high 19 points and
Emma Utterback had a career-high 25 points as Vermont closed out the regular season Saturday with a convincing 64-44 win over UMass Lowell from the Tsongas Center. With the win, the Catamounts improved to 13-5 in conference play. With UAlbany's win over Stony Brook Saturday Vermont will be the three-seed in the upcoming America East Tournament.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Vermont jumped out to an early 9-0 lead Saturday with seven points from Josie Larkins in the opening 4:41 of game action. Anna Olson added two layups late in the first quarter and the Catamounts took a 13-8 lead into the break.
- The River Hawks used an 8-0 run over 1:37 of game to make it 20-16 midway through the second quarter. The teams would trade baskets down the stretch but UVM maintained a 26-22 lead at the half.
- A 6-0 run to start the third quarter bolstered by a Delaney Richason three-pointer gave Vermont a double-digit lead with 7:07 to go in the third. Richason had 10 points in the quarter as the Catamounts took control. Utterback scored the final four points of the third over the final 31 seconds to give UVM a convincing 49-36 lead.
- Utterback had eight points and Richason addeds seven more in the fourth quarter eliminating any designs UMass Lowell had on a comeback.
