BURLINGTON, Vt. –
Josie Larkins had a team-high 19 points including five three-pointers as Vermont picked up its 12th home win of the season defeating Binghamton 65-60 on Senior Night presented by the UVM Alumni Association. With the win, the Catamounts improved to 12-5 in conference play. With one game left in the regular season Vermont is tied for the two-seed in the upcoming America East Playoffs with UAlbany.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Anna Olson had six points for the Catamounts in a back and forth first quarter. Vermont led 16-15 after the opening ten minutes.
- The Bearcats used a 6-0 run to take a 24-18 lead with 6:11 left in the second quarter. Larkins answered quickly for Vermont draining two three-pointers in just 41 seconds. Larkins second triple was her 70th of the season setting a new single-season program record.
- With the game tied at 26 UVM went on an 11-3 run to close the half. Five different Catamounts scored on this run which was capped by a Catherine Gilwee jumper with four seconds left. UVM carried a 37-29 lead into the break.
- At the start of the third quarter Delaney Richason had five points in a 7-0 UVM run that put the Catamounts in front 44-31 with 6:11 to go. Another Larkins three-pointer a minute later gave UVM a game-high 14-point advantage.
- Binghamton's Denai Bowman scored six points early in the fourth quarter as the Bearcats cut the lead to five with 5:06 to go.
- With 52 seconds to go Birna Benonysdottir hit her second three-pointer of the game to make it a one-possession game at 61-58 Vermont. With nine seconds to go UVM held its lead at three at 63-60 with Binghamton inbounding the ball looking for the tie.
- Senior Sarah Wells stole the ball from Benonysdottir and took it all the way to the rim to seal Vermont's win with four seconds to go.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE
- Senior forward Abby Settelmeyer made her first career start tonight.
- First year guard Catherine Gilwee set a new career high with nine assists Wednesday evening. She had eight of those in the first half.
- Wednesday was junior guard Emma Utterback's fifth straight game with 13 or more points for the Catamounts.
- Vermont had 20 assists Wednesday night, their fourth game this season with 20 or more. In games with 14 or more assists this season UVM's record is 12-2.
