It is the Catamounts America East Spread Respect game. America East's Spread Respect initiative raises awareness to ensure equality and safety for all student-athletes, coaches and fans without regard to race, ethnicity, religion, sexual orientation or gender identity. During halftime, there will also be a Redstone Swag Toss and a Keurig T-shirt Toss for the fans.

CELEBRATING THE CONFERENCE TITLE
Thursday's action in Burlington is a doubleheader with the men facing UMass Lowell at 7 p.m. from Virtue Field. During halftime of the men's contest the women's team will be honored for their America East Regular Season Championship.

AMERICA EAST SEMIFINAL TICKETS ON SALE NOW | BUY NOW
As the top seed and regular season champions UVM will learn its opponent after the quarterfinal contests on Sunday, October 31. UVM's semifinal matchup is set for 6 p.m. on Thursday, November 4. Tickets for the semifinal are $8 for adults, $5 for youth ages 14 and under and $2 for non-UVM America East students with a valid school ID. UVM students will receive free admission.

ANATOMY OF A HISTORIC RUN
Vermont's first six game win streak since 1996 has perhaps unsurprisingly been fueled by historic offense and defense. UVM posted four consecutive clean sheets on the run and have averaged 2.16 goals per game. It is the first time Vermont has scored two or more goals in six straight games since 2005.

Ella Bankert was named America East Offensive Player of the Week Monday. Bankert registered the first two assist game of her career Sunday at UMBC as UVM won their sixth straight league contest.Â

KESSEL FINISHING HER CAREER AT HER BEST
Kessel is tops in America East averaging 6.21 saves-per-game. Kessel's 6.21 mark is good for 22nd in the NCAA. Her 87 stops this season ranks 34th in the NCAA and second in America East.

BASA AND OVIEDO LEAD AND THE CATAMOUNTS FOLLOW
Cricket Basa and
Alyssa Oviedo both sit in double digits for scoring this season for the Catamounts. Oviedo has five goals and two assists for 12 points and Basa has four goals and two assists for 10 points. Basa notched game-winning goals against Maine and Hartford while Oviedo tallied the winner against UMass Lowell in UVM's current six-game win streak. Vermont is 6-2-0 this season when one or both of them score.

SCOUTING THE WILDCATS
Thursday's game is pivotal for the Wildcats who enter the final game of the regular season tied for third place with 13 points at 4-3-1. Pending Thursday's results, they could finish anywhere from second to seventh in the league. The top-six teams qualify for the America East Tournament.

UNH is 4-1-0 in its last five games, which have all been clean sheets for the Wildcats or their opponent. The lone blemish in October was a 1-0 loss to NJIT on October 17. UNH is 2-1-1 this season in their road conference contests.

First year Meghan Guarente was named America East Rookie of the Week on Monday. She has two goals and three assists in UNH's five-game run. Senior Francesca Picicci has recorded 13 points over the same span. Senior goalkeeper Cat Sheppard has conceded just one goal in UNH's last five games.
SERIES HISTORY
The Wildcats own an 21-16-5 edge in the all-time series with the Catamounts. Six of the last 10 games against UNH have been decided by just one goal. Vermont hasn't defeated UNH at home since the 2011 campaign. The Wildcats won the last meeting between the two teams 2-1 on October 6, 2019 at Virtue Field.
Natalie Durieux scored the lone goal of the contest for the Catamounts in the 22nd minute.

PLAYOFF PICTURE
Things are setup for a crazy finish on the final day of the regular season. The only seed determined heading into action on Thursday is Vermont at the top. Just three points separate second place and seventh. UMass Lowell, New Hampshire and NJIT are all tied for third place at 4-3-1 and 13 points.
