The Catamounts (7-5-1, 4-2-0 AE) return home on their four-game win streak to host first-place UMass Lowell (7-4-2, 4-1-1 AE) at noon on Sunday. Sunday is Senior Day presented by the UVM Alumni Association. The senior day ceremony and all the action will be broadcast live on AmericaEast.TV beginning at 11:50 a.m.

SETTING NEW RECORDS WITH WIN STREAK
Vermont's current four-game conference winning streak is the longest in program history. Vermont has four straight clean sheets for the first time since 1992. From September 19-27, 1992 they shutout Army, Stony Brook, Maine and Brown. Its Vermont's first four-game win streak since 2005.

KESSEL ON A HISTORIC RUN
Senior goaltender
Lydia Kessel has posted four-straight clean sheets for the Catamounts in wins over Maine, NJIT, Hartford and UAlbany. It has been 376 minutes and 18 seconds since UVM conceded a goal.

Kessel is second in America East averaging 6.17 saves-per-game. Kessel's 6.17 mark is good for 24th in the NCAA. Her 74 stops this season ranks 30th in the NCAA and second in America East. Kessel is the only keeper in the league with four conference clean sheets.

OCTOBER TO REMEMBER FOR O'DONNELL
In Vermont's last three games, all wins in October,
Frances O'Donnell has scored in every contest. She also added an assist Thursday night at UAlbany. In the last three games, she has seven points on three goals and one assist.

BASA AND OVIEDO LEAD AND THE CATAMOUNTS FOLLOW
Cricket Basa and
Alyssa Oviedo are tied for the team lead in scoring with 10 points this season, both of them have four goals and two assists. Basa notched game-winning goals against Maine and Hartford in UVM's four-game win streak. Vermont is 5-2-0 this season when one or both of them score.

SCOUTING THE RIVER HAWKS
UMass Lowell is tied for first-place in America East with a record of 4-1-1 and 13 points. Binghamton also has 13 points, both teams are just a single point ahead of Vermont entering this weekend's action. The River Hawks have stumbled as of late, after starting conference play 4-0-0 they lost to UAlbany at home a week ago 1-0 and tied Hartford 2-2 on Thursday night.

The River Hawks offensive attack is led by first year Ioanna Papatheodorou. She has a league-leading nine goals and 18 points. Four of her goals have come in league play. Only UML's Calliste Brookshire and Emily Nelson have more than one goal for the River Hawks outside of Papatheodorou.

First year goalkeeper Lisa Sjögren has started nine games for Lowell this season including all six conference contests. She has four shutouts this season and a record of 6-2-1.

SERIES HISTORY
The all-time series is tight but the River Hawks own a 3-2-3 edge over the Catamounts. The series has been very competitive as five out of the eight contests have needed at least one overtime period to decide an outcome. Â
