FINAL SCORE: Holy Cross 64, Vermont 53
WORCESTER, Mass. – The Catamounts failed to pick up their first road win of the 2017-18 season after coming up short to the Holy Cross Crusaders 64-53 on Saturday afternoon at the Hart Center. It was Vermont's only game of the week before hosting Northeastern next Sunday.
"I am really happy with the way we battled and with our approach for this road game," said UVM head coach
Chris Day. "Unfortunately, we got hurt on the boards and we could not convert at a high rate on the 20 turnovers we forced. I am really happy with our point guard
Katie Lavelle, having eight assists and no turnovers. That is big time."Â
