LAST TIME OUT - Sacred Heart 76, Vermont 66
Freshman Sydney Smith set a new career-high for the third straight game, pouring in 20 points for Vermont, but Hannah Kimmel netted 29 points to lead Sacred Heart to a 76-66 win on Wednesday ... Smith was 8-for-14 from the field and added three 3-pointers ... Niki Taylor added 14 points and eight rebounds, while Kylie Butler chipped in nine points and grabbed seven rebounds ... Sacred Heart lead by as many as 11 in the first half, but a 3-pointer by Smith cut the margin to six at the break ... UVM used a 6-1 spurt to climb back within four, 68-64, with over a minute to go in the game, but the Pioneers went 6-for-10 from the foul line to close out the game.
