BURLINGTON, Vt. – The Vermont women's basketball team wraps up a two-game season-opening homestand facing Bryant on Tuesday (Nov. 18) at 7 p.m. at Patrick Gymnasium.
 
Tickets are available online at UVMathletics.com or in person one hour before tipoff in the lobby of Patrick Gymnasium.
 
The game can be heard on WVMT-620 AM (online: SportsJuice.com) with Kevin Fitzgerald on the call. The game will also be streamed online for free in HD via CatamounTV.com.

UVM dropped an 81-76 decision to Brown in the season opener on Saturday … The Catamounts held a seven point lead with just over four minutes to go, but the Bears mounted a comeback and were able to pull out the win … Senior Niki Taylor posted her sixth career double-double with 13 points and 13 rebounds and Sophomore Kylie Butler added 13 points and six rebounds for Vermont … Vermont dominated the boards, out rebounding Brown by a +17 margin (50-33) in the game … The Catamounts also handed out 16 assists on 28 field goals.
 
ABOUT BRYANT
Bryant posted its best Division I season last year. The Bulldogs reached the NEC Tournament for the second straight year, going 17-15 overall and 11-7 in the league … The Bulldogs set program records for DI wins (17) and finished third in the NEC standings. The team also made its first national postseason appearance with a berth to the WBI … Bryant was picked to finish sixth in the NEC Preseason Poll and Jenniqua Baily was a Preseason All-Conference selection … Head coach Mary Burke enters her 24th year at the helm of Bryant … Bryant opened the 2014-15 season with a 65-52 win over Maine in Smithfield on Friday … Freshman Ivory Bailey and junior Tiersa Winder combined for 41 points. Bailey scored 24 points and added seven rebounds in her collegiate debut, while Winder chipped in 17 points and seven boards.

This is the third meeting between the two teams, second as Division I opponents … The two teams met in the 2013-14 season opener in Smithfield, R.I. Bryant came away with an 82-71 win … UVM cut a 23-point deficit to seven in the second half … Kristina White scored a game-high 18 points in her collegiate debut off the bench ... She led four Catamounts in double figures … Niki Taylor was 8-for-12 from the field and added 17 points.
