AS A SOPHOMORE (2011-12): Started 20 games, including the first eight of the season … Missed one game due to injury … Finished the year averaging 6.8 points per game … Made 33 3-pointers, the third most on the team, and shot 29.2 percent from beyond the arc … Reached double figures in scoring nine times … Nearly posted a double-double with 12 points and eight rebounds in a win over Texas Southern to help UVM win the Husky Classic hosted by Houston Baptist … Scored a season-high 14 points and grabbed seven rebounds versus UMBC.

AS A FRESHMAN (2010-11): Played in 27 games as a rookie … Came off the bench for the first 19, but was inserted into the starting lineup for the final eight games of the year … Made her collegiate debut with 10 minutes off the bench at Nebraska in the season opener … In her first career start, a victory at Stony Brook, she scored 11 points, including a 3-for-3 effort from three-point range, and grabbed six rebounds … Also reached double-digits versus Albany (2/14/11) … Scored a career-high 12 points and added seven rebounds in a win over New Hampshire (2/17/11) … Totaled 50 points (6.3 ppg) and 44 rebounds (5.5 rpg) as a starter … Finished the year averaging 3.2 points and 2.6 rebounds per game.

BEFORE VERMONT: Came to Vermont from Pennridge High School ... She was a 1,000-point scorer and earned a spot on the all-league and all-area teams as a senior ... Simononis was also named the Pennridge High School Female Athlete of the Year in her final year ... She averaged 16.5 points, 4.0 assists and 3.6 steals per game as a senior.
