Brookville, NY. – Vermont (3-4) took home a win in Brookville, NY on Sunday afternoon, defeating LIU (2-5) at Bethpage Federal Credit Union Stadium.
Meghan O'Connor led the Catamounts with a career-high four goals.

- Lydia Doraz scored off a free position shot at the 12:48 mark giving the Catamounts an early 1-0 lead.
- Forty seconds later, LIU responded with their first goal of the game tying it up at one.
- After LIU went up 2-1, LIU was credited with a yellow card at the 6:45 mark. Lydia Doraz capitalized by scoring another free position shot.
- A minute later, Meghan O'Connor hit a spin move which freed her up for a goal to give UVM a 3-2 lead.
- At 4:27 mark, LIU buried a free position shot to tie the game.
- With one minute remaining, Lydia Doraz would record her third goal of her third free position shot. Catamounts would end the first quarter up 4-3.
- Meghan O'Connor would score the first goal in the 2nd quarter as Vermont led 5-3 at the 12:54 mark.
- One minute later, LIU scored on the other end winning the draw control.
