COACH'S QUOTE
"EVERYONE had a good day today, some had personal bests, but all had something that they can be pleased about.  Kayla finished a tremendous Indoor Track and Field career with another medal performance and a new hurdle PR to boot," said head coach Matt Belfield.  "The men had good first days in the heptathlon and are poised for excellent point totals tomorrow.  Erica's PR at New England's got us some points and Shea and Morgan also had their second-best collegiate marks in their respective events.  Really happy with today."

HOW IT HAPPENED
  • Jackson King sits second in the heptathlon with 2478 points after Day 1 of the IC4A championships
  • Kayla Myers was third in the ECAC pentathlon with 3344 points to pick six points.
  • Vaughan Larkin is third in the IC4A heptathlon after Day 1 with 2293 points.
  • Eben Mosher was fourth after the first day of the IC4A heptathlon.
  • Erica Eastman was sixth in the 5000 at the NEICAAA Championships with 18:20.19 to earn three points.
  • Morgan Ryan tied for 16th in the pole vault at the NEICAAA Championships with a vault of 3.31 meters.
  • Shea Cushing was 17 in the 5000 at the NEICAAA Championships at 19:29.92.
