WOMEN'S LACROSSE NOTEBOOK
Vermont (6-5, 1-2 AE) heads to Bryant (7-4, 1-1 AE) in a matchup set for Saturday (Apr. 6) at Beirne Stadium. The opening draw is set for 12 p.m. ET. The matchup will broadcast live on ESPN+ with an international stream available at AmericaEast.TV.

SCOUTING THE BULLDOGS
Bryant is 7-4 overall on the season and 1-1 in conference. Their two most recent games have been against conference opponents where they defeated UMBC (W,15-10) and lost in a tight game against UAlbany (L,14-11). The Bulldogs were picked to finish fourth in the America East Preseason Coach's poll, tied with UNH. Senior, Kenna Kaut, leads the team with 53 points (50 goals, 3 assists). She also leads the conference in goals per game (4.55) and is also ranked third nationally for goals (50) and for goals per game. During the 2023 season, Kaut was named to First Team All-Conference team. Senior, Peyton Wood, has also been dominant for the Bulldogs with 39 points (13 goals, 26 assists). 
 
INSIDE THE SERIES
Bryant is 2-3 overall against Vermont. The Bulldogs joined the America East Conference for the first time during the 2023 season where Vermont was victorious in their first conference game (W,17-7). Ava Vasile scored five, Jane Trauger scored four, Mckenzie Ballard had a pair, and Ciera Licare and Claire Adelhelm each notched one. 
 
THE AVA SHOW
It's no secret that Ava Vasile has been dominant this season. She has earned three Offensive Player of the Week honors so far this season. She is tied for 26th in the country in goals (40) and 23rd in goals per game (3.64). In America East, she ranks first in shots per game (7.91), and third in goals and goals per game. 
 
UP NEXT
Next Saturday, April 13 is the Catamounts annual Rally Against Cancer Game, presented by Mascoma Bank. Vermont will be facing UMBC at noon, and all the action will stream live on ESPN+.
