SCOUTING THE RIVER HAWKS
UMass Lowell is having a historic with 11 victories. The River Hawks need a victory on Saturday to clinch the fourth and final spot of the 2024 America East Tournament. The River Hawks have wins over UNH (W, 18-10) and Bryant (W, 16-13) in league play. Their most recent game was to conference opponent UAlbany (L, 10-7). The River Hawks lead the conference in goals per game (14.25). Attacker, Chloe Bowers, has been named America East Rookie of the Week five times this season and is the River Hawks' points leader (54) with 45 goals, nine assists, and 19 draw controls. Not far behind her is junior attacker, Jade Catlin (42 goals, 10 assists, 52 draw controls). Graduate student, Julia Napolitano, leads the defense with 29 ground balls, 24 caused turnovers, and nine ground balls.

INSIDE THE SERIES
Vermont is 7-2 overall against UMass Lowell. The Catamounts have won four straight games against the River Hawks. UVM earned a dominant 13-5 victory over UML in Burlington a season ago.

LAST TIME OUT
Vermont battled to an 11-10 victory over Rutgers last weekend on Senior Day presented by UVM Health Advantage. The Catamounts saw their three-goal lead erased late in the second half, but
Kendall Traveis scored the clinching goal with 1:24 remaining for the win. The victory was Vermont's first over a Big Ten school.

RECORD SETTER
Ava Vasile broke Vermont's all-time points record against Le Moyne, passing Sydney Mas '14 with her 256th career point. Vasile's record-setting point came on her second goal of the game. She is currently three goals away from tying Mas' all- time goals record (218), sitting in second with 215 career tallies.

TRAUGER'S HOT STREAK
Jane Trauger has been a force for Vermont's offense, recording a goal in ten-straight games. She has a total of 43 points in those games, including a season-high six points against Le Moyne. She also recorded four points (3 goals, 1 assist) in Vermont's thrilling win over Rutgers. She is two points away from passing her points total from last season (44).
