Saturday is Youth Day presented by Healthy Living. Tickets are free for kids aged 12 or younger. Youth Day activities will take place in the Gardner-Collins Indoor Track from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

SCOUTING THE BEARCATS
Binghamton snapped a four-game losing streak last Saturday with a 14-9 victory over conference foe UMass Lowell. The Bearcats' loss in league play came against UAlbany (L, 15-13) on Mar. 16. The Bearcats were picked No. 3 in the 2024 America East Preseason Coaches Poll, one spot behind the Catamounts. Junior, Abagail Carroll, leads the team in points (36) with 23 goals and 13 assists. Behind her is Olivia Muscolino (27 goals, 6 assists) and Madison Murphy (23 goals, 7 assists). Junior, Angelina Suau, leads the defense with 16 ground balls, 13 caused turnovers, and five draw controls.Â

INSIDE THE SERIES
Vermont is 14-9 in the all-time series with Binghamton, but the Bearcats have defeated the Catamounts in the last two matchups. The conference foes last met in the 2023 America East Semifinal where Binghamton edged out Vermont 12-10.

SEMIFINAL MATCHUPS
The Catamounts and Bearcats have met in each of the last two America East Semifinals with each team earning a victory. Vermont defeated Binghamton 13-12 in the 2022 semifinals.
Ava Vasile scored six goals in the win, including the clinching tally with 7.8 seconds left to send UVM to its first title game in program history. A fourth-quarter comeback led the Bearcats to a 12-10 win over the Catamounts in the 2023 semifinals.

Ava Vasile has been dominant this season. In Vermont's most recent victory against conference opponent UNH, Vasile scored a career high of seven goals and secured 200 career goals. She has earned three Offensive Player of the Week honors so far this season. She is ranked 13th in the country in goals (39) and 14th in goals per game (3.90). She ranks second in conference in goals, first in shots per game, and second in goals and goals per games.Â

HOME SWEET HOME
The Catamounts play at home in back-to-back games for the first time this season. Vermont has spent eight of its first 10 games of the season away from Burlington. UVM is 11-5 at Virtue Field over the last two seasons.
