BURLINGTON, Vt. – Vermont (5-6) hit double digits threes for the first time since 2022 en route to a 17-point victory over Manhattan (6-3).

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Anna Olson opened the scoring for the Catamounts as she scored on Vermont's first possession of the game.
- Manhattan responded with a 6-0 run before Catherine Gilwee hit a three to cut the deficit to one.
- Bella Vito then took the Catamounts on a 5-0 run, scoring five straight points in 30 seconds.
- Manhattan went on a 4-0 run to tie the game at 10, all with 4:30 to go in the first.
- Vermont closed the first quarter on a 12-4 run with four points from Vito, threes from Keira Hanson and Sarah Ericson, and two from Olson.
- The two teams opened the second quarter trading baskets heading into the second media timeout. Sarah Lazar had four, and Vito had two for the Catamounts in the stretch.
- Vermont closed the half on a 10-5 run to take a 15-point halftime lead. Hanson had five, Gilwee had three, and Nikola Priede had two.
- Manhattan opened the third quarter on a 6-2 heading into the third media timeout, with Olson's two free throws the Catamounts lone points.
- The teams traded buckets to end the third quarter, with each team scoring seven after the media timeout. Emma Haan led the way with three, while Priede and Olson each had two.
- Vermont opened the fourth quarter on an 8-2 run with six points from Ericson and two from Priede, forcing Manhattan into a timeout.
- After the timeout, the Catamounts went on a 7-4 run to take them into the final media timeout. Haan had three, while Gilwee and Hanson each had two.
- Out of the media timeout, the Cats went on an 8-4 to give themselves a 24-point lead, the largest of the afternoon. Hanson had six, and Priede had two during the run.
- Manhattan closed the game on an 11-4 run, with Lazar and Nika Kurdija scoring the lone points. Â

- Prior to the game Mayer Women's Basketball Coach Alisa Kresge was honored for her 100th career win at Vermont. On November 18, Coach Kresge and the Catamounts defeated Dartmouth 61-37 on the road to reach the century mark. She is the fourth head coach in program history to reach 100 wins at Vermont.
- Hanson led Vermont's scoring with 16 points, including a season-high four three-pointers. Vito and Ericson were second and third with 11 and nine points, respectively.
- Priede and Lazar led the Catamounts on the boards with eight and seven, respectively. Priede matched a career-high with eight, while Lazar set a new high with seven. Vito was third with five.
- Gilwee was Vermont's lead distributor with seven season-high assists, while Ericson was second with four. This was also a season-high for her. Lazar and Hanson
- On the defensive side, the Catamounts had eight steals and five blocked shots. The five blocked shots are a season-high, including Hanson's three, which matched a career-high. Gilwee had three steals, which also matched a career-high for her.
- Vermont shot a season-high 12 three-pointers, the first time they have hit more than 10 since hitting 10 against Marist in December 2022.
- For the first time this season and the first time since the WNIT quarterfinal against Purdue last April, the Cats were perfect from the free-throw line.
