Catamounts Travel To Buffalo Thursday

BURLINGTON, Vt. - Vermont (5-7) travels to Buffalo (9-0) for their penultimate non conference game in 2024. The game will tip off at 1:00 p.m. ET and be streamed live on ESPN+ with Paul Peck and Jared Zeidman on the call.

BROADCAST INFORMATION
The game will be streamed live on ESPN+. Fans can listen to the game for free on the Vermont Sports Network from Learfield on WVMT, which will air on 96.3 FM in Burlington, 105.9 FM in Plattsburgh, and 620 AM around the rest of the region. The radio broadcast is also available via the Varsity Network App, and Ryan Zimmerman is on the call.

VERMONT OUTLOOK

The Catamounts fell to Quinnipiac last time out, 68-63.
Anna Olson led Vermont in scoring with a season-high 21 points, her second 20-point game of the season.
Olson and Bella Vito led the Catamounts in rebounds with seven a piece. Catherine Gilwee led Vermont in assists with five.
The Catamounts are 1-0 all-time versus the Bulls, with their lone win coming on New Year's Day in 1992 when they won 81-53.
This season, Olson is Vermont's leading scorer, averaging 15.1 points per game. Hanson and Vito are second and third, averaging 10.4 and 9.8 per game, respectively.
Vito leads the Catamounts on the boards with 5.7 per game. Olson and Malia Lenz are second and third, averaging 5.3 and 4.5 per game, respectively.
Buffalo will be the second of three games for Vermont, where they face a team ranked in the Mid-Major Top 25. Quinnipiac is ranked fifth, the Bulls are ranked sixth, and Princeton, their final nonconference opponent, is ranked 12th.

Alexis Davis leads Buffalo in rebounding with eight boards a game. Watson and Lewis-Williams are second and third, averaging 4.9 and 4.7 rebounds.
The Bulls return three of their leading scorers from a year ago. Watson led Buffalo last year with 23 points per game. Lewis-Williams and Davis return after averaging 11.8 and 7.8, respectively.
Davis, Lewis-Williams, and Watson are the Bulls' leading rebounders who return from last season. The trio averaged 6.3, 5.2, and 5.1, respectively.
