SCOUTING THE HIGHLANDERS
NJIT has suffered four-straight losses entering Sunday's game, with its most recent loss coming to Stony Brook (L, 87-68) on Tuesday (Mar. 1). Miles Coleman leads the NJIT attack with a 15.4 scoring average. The forward ranks No. 5 in the league in scoring and No. 6 in the league in rebounds with 5.8 boards per game this season. Dylan O'Hearn averages double figures as well for the Highlanders, posting 11.8 points per game.

INSIDE THE SERIES
Vermont and NJIT meet for the ninth time in series history and the sixth time at Patrick Gym. The Catamounts are 4-1 against the Highlanders at home. UVM swept NJIT during the regular season, with an 83-58 victory in Newark (Jan. 19) and a 90-67 win at Patrick Gym (Feb. 2).
Aaron Deloney registered a career-high 24 points on a perfect 8-for-8 from shooting night to lead the Catamounts in the 90-67 victory.
Nick Fiorillo led Vermont in the Jan. 19 matchup on the road with a career-high 18 points.

UVM is 20-5 all-time as the top seed in the America East Playoffs. Vermont has been the No. 1 seed in five of the last six conference tournaments.

MAJOR AWARD WINNERS
Three Catamounts garnered America East Major Awards when the league announced its year-end awards on Friday afternoon.
Ryan Davis became the fifth Catamount to earn back-to-back Player of the Year honors, winning the award for the 14th time in program history.
John Becker was named Coach of the Year for a league-record sixth time, earning the accolade for the fifth time in the last six seasons.
Aaron Deloney was selected as the league's Sixth Man of the Year, becoming the fourth Catamount in program history to earn the award.

ALL-CONFERENCE CATS
Several Catamounts received All-League honors for their play in the 2021-22 season.
Ryan Davis and
Ben Shungu were named to the America East All-Conference First Team. Shungu was also named to the league's All-Defensive Team for the third consecutive season.
Isaiah Powell received All-Conference Third-Team honors for the first time in his career.
