COACH'S QUOTE
"It was a great hockey game and battle with Northeastern tonight and they got the result," Head Coach

Jessie McPherson was outstanding and our team battled to the end. Northeastern is a team that preys on mistakes and we are going to have to play a cleaner game tomorrow."
HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Huskies opened the scoring on the power play with 7:57 left in the first period. Anderson faked to her backhand and then tucked the puck home along the post for her sixth goal of the season.
- Vermont cut the lead in half with 4:04 left in regulation. Sini Karjalainen fired a wrist shot from the point and Corinne McCool redirected it home for her sixth goal of the season. Ellice Murphy earned a secondary assist on the play.
