COACH'S QUOTE
"We had a slow start to the game, but in the second half we showed more determinations and managed to even the score," said head coach Rob Dow. "We are learning the hard way that tight games and overtime matches require a greater team sacrifice to get the win."

HOW IT HAPPENED
  • Harvard wasted very little time on attack with Cornelius Bencsik finding the back of the Vermont net in the sixth minute. The game's first goal was assisted by Arlotti and Duncan Sutherland.
  • The Crimson carried a 6-2 shot-advantage over the Catamounts through the opening 45 minutes.
  • Vermont dominated the second half posting five shots and holding Harvard to without a shot attempt. Jacob Vitale netted the equalizer in the 62nd minute when he snuck a shot just inside the left post. Joe Morrison directed a cross to Vitale who beat Oskar Nilsson (3 saves) from outside the six-yard box.
  • Arlotti netted the clinching goal in the 107th minute after receiving a cross from Willem Ebbinge. Arlotti took a touch before firing a shot off the crossbar that landed just inside the goal line.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE
  • Shots on goal were even at nine apiece. Vermont had a 6-5 advantage in corner kicks.
  • Nate Silveira stopped five shots in goal for the Catamounts.
  • Alex Nagy matched a game-high three shots, including one shot on goal.
