ANNAPOLIS, Md. – Navy's Jennifer Coleman scored a game-high 23 points Saturday leading Navy in a come from behind 55-51 win in non-conference action from Alumni Hall. With the win Navy improved to 2-2 on the campaign while the Catamounts fell to 1-3.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Vermont jumped out to an early lead fueled by an 8-0 run over 2:05 of game action in the first quarter. Anna Olson had six of those points as the Catamounts led 13-6 at the first media timeout.
- A Josie Larkins three-pointer and two free throws from Carly Whiteside late in the quarter pushed UVM's lead to 18-8 after the opening 10 minutes.
- With 5:09 left in the second quarter Olson completed a three-point play to push the Catamounts lead to 13. She finished the half with 13 points on perfect six-of-six shooting. After an 11-11 second quarter UVM maintained a 10-point lead into the half.
- The Mids scored the first seven points of the third quarter, including five points from their leading scorer Coleman to make it 29-26. UVM called timeout to regroup with 7:10 remaining.
- Catherine Gilwee scored eight points after the timeout including two three-pointers as UVM pushed its lead back out. Gilwee and Olson each hit threes in an 8-0 run over 1:26 and the Catamounts took a 42-33 lead into the fourth quarter.
- The Mids used a 15-2 run in the fourth quarter to take a 53-48 lead on a banked in three-pointer with 40 seconds left in the game. Josie Larkins answered with a three-pointer with 32.4 seconds left to cut the lead to two but Coleman hit two free throws down the stretch to seal with win for Navy.

- Anna Olson scored 20 points on Saturday, the most by a Catamount in a game this season.
- First year Catherine Gilwee set a new career-high with 10 points.
WHO'S NEXT
Next weekend Vermont will welcome Brown, Bucknell and North Dakota to Patrick Gym for the 2021 edition of the TD Bank Classic. UVM will face Brown at noon on Saturday, November 27 followed by North Dakota and Bucknell at 3 p.m. On Sunday, there will be a championship game and a consolation contest. Regardless of the results North Dakota will play the early game at 11 a.m. followed by the second contest at 2 p.m. All games of the tournament will be broadcast on ESPN3 or ESPN+.
