AMERICA EAST RESCHEDULING OF WEEKEND SERIES
Last night America East announced UVM would be hosting UMBC at UAlbany after Stony Brook and UAlbany were deemed unavailable due to COVID-19 protocols.
"We greatly appreciate the flexibility of UMBC and Vermont in agreeing to this schedule and travel adjustment on short notice," said America East Commissioner Amy Huchthausen. "We also owe a special thanks to UAlbany's administration for its willingness to host the series resulting in a shorter travel distance for the visiting team. Our membership remains committed to work together and collaborate in order to maximize competition opportunities for our student-athletes in this unique and challenging season. We will continue to be creative and flexible with our schedules without sacrificing the health and safety of our student-athletes, coaches and team personnel."
