WOMEN'S BASKETBALL ALUMNAE DAY
All alumnae are invited to a pregame reception starting at 12 p.m. followed by Vermont hosting UAlbany at 2 p.m. After the game, Vermont Women's Basketball will host alumnae at a post-game reception at Halvorson's Upstreet Café on Church St from 4-7 p.m. Alumnae are asked to register at go.uvm.edu/wbbalum and can contact our Victory Club office at Victory.Club@uvm.edu or 802-656-0956 with any questions.

BLOCK PARTY
The Catamounts lead America East in blocks with 100. They are also tied for 22nd in the NCAA. Hanna Crymble is the individual leader in America East with 44 blocks this season, which is tied for 25th in Division I. Crymble had 38 blocks over the last two seasons combined. She is 14 blocks away from surpassing her total blocks from the last three years combined.

40-PERCENT AN INDICATOR FOR SUCCESS
When the Catamounts shoot 40% or better from the field they are 8-2 this season. Their only conference loss when shooting better than 40% was Wednesday afternoon against UNH. Vermont also has a 5-2 record when shooting 40% or better from three-point range. Catamount starters Hanna Crymble, Delaney Richason and Emma Utterback are all individually shooting above the 40% mark.

SCOUTING THE GREAT DANES
Alexi Schecter leads the Great Danes and is 6th in the conference in scoring at 12.8 points-per-game. She is third in the conference with 25 blocks this season. They also hold a top-ten rebounder in Amanda Kantzy who grabs 6.8 rebounds-per-game.

Defensively they are a top-three team in the league, and lead the conference in three-point defense. Through their 21 games, opponents have shot just 26.4% from beyond-the-arc. UAlbany's offense relies on ball movement, and they lead the conference in assists-per-game at 14.1.

SERIES HISTORY
Saturday will be meeting number 42 between the Great Danes and Catamounts. They first met in 2002, and Vermont won the first eight games of the series in commanding fashion. The Catamounts went on to win 14 of the first 16 meetings between 2002 and 2010. From there the Great Danes took over and won 19 consecutive contests. They have now split the last four games at two wins a piece. Vermont has won back-to-back games played in Burlington after a 52-39 win at home last January.

CATHY INGLESE PATCHES
This season the Catamounts are wearing jersey patches to honor our former Head Coach Cathy Inglese. Inglese was the head coach at Vermont for seven seasons, from 1986 to 1993. She led UVM to unprecedented success with its first two conference titles, in 1992 and 1993, and its first two trips to the NCAA Women's Basketball Championship.
These patches will be worn at home and on the road this season to honor the memory of Coach Inglese who tragically passed away this summer.
