WOMEN'S BASKETBALL NOTEBOOK
Vermont returns home to host New Hampshire Wednesday morning at 11 a.m. in the final contest of the first half of America East play. The University of Vermont would like to thank VSAC, sponsor of Vermont's 529 college savings plan for presenting the annual Catamount Classroom Game. The game will be broadcast live on ESPN+. The action can also be heard on WVMT AM 620/FM 96.3 with the voice of the Catamounts Maura Sheridan on the call.

ANOTHER STEP UP
After scoring 13 points on Saturday,
Hanna Crymble passed Aaron Yantzi '04 for seventh place all-time at UVM in scoring with 1,600 points. She needs 89 points to tie Morgan Hall '03 for sixth place all-time at UVM. Crymble became the 30th player in America East history to reach 1,600 points.

BLOCK PARTY
The Catamounts lead America East in blocks with 93. They are also tied for 31st in the NCAA.
Hanna Crymble is the individual leader in America East with 41 blocks this season, which is tied for 28th in Division I. Crymble had 38 blocks over the last two seasons combined.

GOOD MORNING BASKETBALL
Today is Vermont's annual Catamount Classroom Game presented by VSAC. In last year's Catamount Classroom game,
Hanna Crymble had 18 points in a 58-50 win. Head Coach
Alisa Kresge said "the atmosphere was electric… a big thank you to all the school kids who helped us get this win!" Vermont is playing their second consecutive 11 a.m. game today.

On Wednesday there will be at least 13 different schools represented, totaling over 1,500 students ranging from preschool to middle school. Schools from Highgate, Swanton, South Burlington, Fairfield, Charlotte, Burlington, Essex, Underhill and Huntington will be represented.

SCOUTING THE WILDCATS
New Hampshire is sitting tied with four teams, including Vermont, at 3-4 in America East Play. The Wildcats have won two of their last three and are coming off of a 10-point loss to Binghamton. Two of New Hampshire's three conference wins have come by one point each. They Beat UAlbany 48-47 and topped Hartford 72-71. New Hampshire has struggled from the floor, shooting just 37% from the field and 25% from downtown.Â

Ashley Storey is fourth in the America East in scoring behind
Hanna Crymble. She averages 16.8 points-per-game and is 11th in the conference with 6.0 rebounds-per-game. Héléna Delaruelle is third in the conference in assists-per-game with 4.2. She is three spots ahead of Vermont's
Emma Utterback at 3.0 assists-per-game.

SERIES HISTORY
Wednesday morning will be the 84th meeting between the Catamounts and Wildcats. Vermont leads the all-time series 44-39. Vermont has won the last three games and six of the last nine. In their last meeting, the Catamounts outscored UNH 32-22 in the paint. It took an 8-2 run to tie the game late, and
Hanna Crymble sunk two clutch free throws to seal a 51-50 win in Durham.

CATHY INGLESE PATCHES
This season the Catamounts are wearing jersey patches to honor our former Head Coach Cathy Inglese. Inglese was the head coach at Vermont for seven seasons, from 1986 to 1993. She led UVM to unprecedented success with its first two conference titles, in 1992 and 1993, and its first two trips to the NCAA Women's Basketball Championship.
These patches will be worn at home and on the road this season to honor the memory of Coach Inglese who tragically passed away this summer.

Vermont Women's Basketball Alumnae are invited to join the team for Vermont Basketball Alumnae Day on Saturday, February 1.
