THREAT FROM DOWNTOWN
UVM is 50th in the NCAA with 111 made three-pointers. The Catamounts are second in the conference with 7.7 three-pointers made per game. Four Catamounts have made 10 or more triples this season and six Catamounts are shooting better than 34% from beyond the arc.

SCOUTING THE RETRIEVERS
Â
UMBC comes to town after dropping their first three America East games. They were most recently taken down at home by Binghamton 61-43. They are paced by a senior guard in Te'yJah Oliver who posts 19.8 points, 4.0 rebounds and 2.1 assists per game. Janee'a Summers is the only other Retriever that averages double-figures.
Â
As a team, UMBC has the fourth best three-point percentage in the America East at 33.1%. They are just behind UVM's 33.7% from downtown. UMBC holds the third best field goal percentage and has the fifth highest scoring average in the conference.
Â
SERIES HISTORY
Â
Vermont has a chance to even up the all-time series with UMBC on Saturday. The Retrievers currently hold an 18-17 lead in the matchup. Vermont has won three of the last four games, including both last season. Their last meeting was a 58-50 UVM win in Patrick Gym. UVM was led by
Hanna Crymble's 18 points and six rebounds in the victory.
LARKINS LIGHTS UP THE BLACK AND GOLD
Junior guard
Josie Larkins has fond memories of facing UMBC in January. Last year on January 23 she had then career-high 23 points with seven made three-pointers as UVM took down the Retrievers 58-44 in Maryland.

CATHY INGLESE PATCHES
This season the Catamounts are wearing jersey patches to honor our former Head Coach Cathy Inglese. Inglese was the head coach at Vermont for seven seasons, from 1986 to 1993. She led UVM to unprecedented success with its first two conference titles, in 1992 and 1993, and its first two trips to the NCAA Women's Basketball Championship.
These patches will be worn at home and on the road this season to honor the memory of Coach Inglese who tragically passed away this summer.
