COACH'S QUOTE
"I thought there was a little bit of effort left on the field from our Iona game and we wanted to show our fans that we can get some wins at Virtue Field," head coach Rob Dow said. "With that said, we're starting to get some chemistry and our attack back."

HOW IT HAPPENED
  • In the 17th minute, Alex Nagy sent his corner kick into the center of the box to Arnar Steinn Hansson who tipped it to Garrett Lillie. Lillie kicked the ball into the top right corner for his first collegiate goal.
  • Four minutes later, Joe Morrison drilled a deep cross from the right sideline to Ívar Örn Árnason, who tracked the ball down on the goal line and lined a strike inside the far post.
  • Coming out of the break, the Crimson only needed 54 seconds of game clock to cut the deficit in half. Fernando Docters hooked a cross from the right side through traffic and Alfred Perez buried a low shot into the left side of the net.
  • In the 61st minute, UVM extended its lead to 3-2 when Lillie sent a long through ball to Rasmus Tobinski, which lead him to dribble past two defenders. The freshman finished the scoring chance with a strike under the crossbar.
  • Harvard added its final goal of the night 10 minutes later. Willem Ebbinge put a free kick just in front of the goal and Martin Vician tapped in his first goal of the season.
  • In the 73rd minute, Jon Arnar Barddal dished a low feed towards the center of the box for Evan Rouleau. Rouleau forced Crimson goalie Bobby Harraka (9 saves) to come out of the net as the sophomore scored on the mini-breakaway.
GAME NOTES
  • Goalie Nate Silveira logged his second consecutive win and made two saves.
  • The four-goal output was the most goals scored by the Catamounts since Sept. 9, 2018 against Fairleigh Dickinson.
  • UVM grabs a 6-5-1 all-time edge over Harvard.
  • Friday night was the Peter Baldwin Memorial Game presented by Morgan Stanley.
  • With the victory, the Cats Win, Community Wins campaign and Vermont Mutual Insurance Group will donate $100 to Make-A-Wish Vermont; bringing this year's total to 61 wins and $6,100.
