WOMEN'S BASKETBALL NOTEBOOK
Vermont will travel to face Dartmouth in the 2019-20 season opener on Tuesday (Nov. 5) at 7 p.m. The non-conference matchup can be heard on AM 620/96.3 FM WVMT with the voice of the Catamounts Maura Sheridan on the call.

CRYMBLE NAMED TO KATRINA MCCLAIN AWARD WATCH LIST
UVM women's basketball senior forward and co-captain
Hanna Crymble has been named to the 2020 Katrina McClain Award watch list. Named after the two-time All-American and 1987 National Player of the Year, the annual award recognizes the top power forwards in women's NCAA Division I college basketball.
Crymble was one of five mid-major players to make the list. This Sunday Crymble will face fellow candidate Taiye Bello and the Minnesota Golden Gophers in a homecoming for the Champlin, Minnesota native.
CRYMBLE AND LARKINS NAMED TEAM CAPTAINS

Josie Larkins are the co-captains for the 2019-20 campaign. For the second straight season Crymble was selected to the Preseason America East All-Conference Team. Last season in conference play Crymble led the Catamounts with 11.7 points-per-game. Larkins enjoyed a breakout season for the Catamounts as a sophomore. She started 28 games and was third on the team in scoring with 8.3 points-per-game.
SEASON OPENERS
The Catamounts are 4-6 in their last ten season openers, including a 1-4 mark in the last five season openers on the road. The 1-4 mark includes the 2017-18 season opener which the Catamounts lost at Dartmouth 66-56. Vermont defeated Rider 54-49 last season in their season opener and first game under Head Coach
Alisa Kresge.
SCOUTING DARTMOUTH
The Big Green won 13 games last season and finished in a three-way tie for fourth place in the Ivy League with a conference record of 6-8. Like the Catamounts Dartmouth returns just three players who started 20 or more games last season. The Big Green were picked to finish sixth in the Ivy League preseason poll.
Senior guard Annie McKenna is Dartmouth's top returning scorer from last season. She averaged 7.1 points-per-game and 3.6 assists-per-game. Against the Catamounts last season she had five points, seven assists, and seven rebounds in 27 minutes of game action.
Under Head Coach Belle Koclanes Dartmouth has a 5-1 record in home openers, including two wins over the Catamounts. Koclanes first win with the Big Green came in a 66-62 win over Vermont on November 11, 2013.
SERIES HISTORY
The Catamounts lead the all-time series 20-16 against the Big Green. Last season Dartmouth defeated Vermont 66-42 at Patrick Gym in the second game of the season for the Catamounts. The Big Green bench scored 17 second quarter points to pull away from Vermont.
