WRIGHT BLOCK PARTY
Candice Wright is Vermont's all-time block leader with 188 career blocks. She is averaging 3.4 blocks per game, which is tied for third in the NCAA.

SCOUTING MAINE
The defending America East champions, Maine is the only team currently 2-0 in conference play. They are ranked 25th in the College Insider Mid-Major Top-25. Maine played a very difficult non-conference slate which included a 12-point win at North Carolina and a 3-point loss at #20 Duke.

Junior guard Blanca Millan leads America East and Maine in scoring with 17.3 PPG. She has scored 20 or more points on six separate occasions this season. She netted a career-high 36 points against Brown on December 8. Last season against Vermont she averaged 22.5 points and was the top-scorer in each game.

Senior guard Parise Rossignol was named the America East Player of the Week after leading the Black Bears to their 2-0 start in conference play averaging 18.5 PPG, shooting 79% from the field including 7-for-10 from behind the arc. The 2018 America East Sixth Player of the Year is averaging 10.7 PPG this season.
