PREGAME CEREMONY FOR CRYMBLE
Prior to the start of Saturday's game at approximately 1:54 p.m. there will be a brief on-court presentation to honor junior forward Hanna Crymble for reaching the 1,000-point plateau. She hit the mark in 68 games, making her the fifth fastest to do so in program history. She is the ninth player to do so before her senior year.

CAREER NIGHT FOR CARMEN
Sophomore forward Carmen Handy set a new career-high with seven points Wednesday night at UMass Lowell. She also had two rebounds, one assist and one steal in 18 minutes of game action. Vermont maintained a plus-nine point differential with her on the court.

CRYMBLE LEADING THE WAY
Junior forward Hanna Crymble leads the Catamounts in scoring with 16.3 PPG. She is third in America East in scoring. She has been Vermont's leading scorer in 10 of the Catamounts 13 games. She is shooting 50.7% from the field this season which is the top mark in America East.

WRIGHT BLOCK PARTY
Candice Wright is Vermont's all-time block leader with 180 career blocks. This season she already has 39 blocks. The single season Vermont record is 50 blocks, which she set in her freshman campaign. She is averaging 3.2 blocks per game, which is third in the NCAA.

SCOUTING UAlbany
The Great Danes come to Burlington on their first two-game winning streak of the season. UAlbany defeated Columbia on the road 62-58 on December 29 and opened America East play with a 61-56 home win over Binghamton Wednesday.

Down 16 at one point against the Bearcats UAlbany had four players reach double figures for the first time this season as they outscored Binghamton 33-21 in the second half to earn their first conference win.

Sophomore guard Kyara Frames leads the Great Danes in scoring with 12.6 points per game. Frames has scored 20 or more points on three occasions this season. She is a bit of an unknown commodity to Vermont, she only scored two points in limited minutes against the Catamounts last season.

SERIES HISTORY
UAlbany leads the all-time series 22-18. Last season on February 8 Vermont's 63-57 win at home snapped a 19-game losing streak to the Great Danes. UAlbany has ended Vermont's season in the America East tournament in five of the last seven years, including last season 60-42 in the team's last meeting in the America East Quarterfinals in Portland, Maine.

NEW FACES
Saturday will mark the second straight contest where UVM Interim Head Coach Alisa Kresge faces an America East newcomer. A former Associate Head Coach at Army, Colleen Mullen is in her first season at UAlbany. Tom Garrick (UMass Lowell) and Bethann Shapiro-Ord (Binghamton) are the other new head coaches in the league this season.

Team Nissan North is the presenting sponsor of the 2018-19 women's basketball season.
