Vermont (3-3) will host Holy Cross (3-2) Wednesday night at 7 p.m. as the Catamounts wrap-up their season-opening seven-game home stand. The non-conference matchup can be heard on AM 620 WVMT with Maura Sheridan on the call. The action will be streamed live on ESPN+ with Rob Ryan and

CRYMBLE LEADS THE WAY
Junior forward
Hanna Crymble leads the Catamounts in scoring with 17.0 PPG. She has been Vermont's leading scorer in its last three contests. This season she is also 31-for-36 from the free throw line. The rest of the team has only made 33 free throws.

HOME COOKING
Vermont will play the final game of its seven-game home stand to open the season Wednesday night. Of the 351 Division I teams the Catamounts are one of only eight to have not played a road or neutral site game to this point. (Butler, East Carolina, Kansas, Oklahoma State, Portland State, Texas Tech, and UTEP)

SCOUTING HOLY CROSS
The Crusaders are 3-2 on the season, including a 1-1 mark on the road. In their last game-action Holy Cross defeated UAlbany on the road 56-50. JuniorÂ
Lauren Manis led the way against the Great Danes with her fourth double-double in five games, recording 16 points and 12 rebounds. Holy Cross is 2-0 this season against common opponents with UVM having defeated Rider and URI at home.

Avery LaBarbera was named theÂ
Patriot League Rookie of the Week for the second consecutive week after averaging 11.5 points, 5.5 rebounds and 3.5 assists. She had 11 points and three assists in 38 minutes of game action against Albany.

SERIES HISTORY
Wednesday will be the 18th meeting between Vermont and Holy Cross. The Catamounts currently hold a narrow 9-8 advantage in the all-time series. Last season Holy Cross defeated Vermont 64-53 in Worcester.
Cassidy Derda led the way for Vermont with a season-high 17 points.

MANIS WITH FAMILY TIES TO VERMONT
Lauren Manis' mother Allison Mahan (now Manis) played for the Catamounts from 1986-1990. She was captain as a senior and is seventh all-time in rebounds with 727 career boards. Mahan was the 1990 recipient of UVM's Russell O. Sunderland Memorial Trophy.
