STORRS, Conn. – UConn's Dayonn Harris scored with 37 seconds left in the match and handed Vermont a 3-2 decision on Tuesday night in the non-conference finale. The Catamounts drop to 10-6 while the Huskies improve to 10-2-2.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Catamounts grabbed a 1-0 lead in the 11th minute with Jonathan Bryant's fourth goal of the season. The freshman buried a header into the right side of the net past the outstretched gloves of UConn keeper Austin Aviza (3 saves) from 10 yards out.
- UConn tied the game at 1-1 with eight seconds left in the first half. From the right side of the box, Abdou Mbacke Thiam managed to get a pass through a scramble to Blaise N'Gague, who knocked the ball into the left side of the net.
- Geo Alves gave the Cats a 2-1 lead in the 56th minute. In front of the UVM bench, Trevor Colazzo tossed a long throw-in towards the goal line, then Alves beat a defender and drove the go-ahead score into the center of the net with a low shot.
- The Huskies found a second equalizer in the 66th minute from Thiam. On the left flank, Harris dished a cross into the box and Thiam finished the chance after getting a friendly deflection off UVM goalie Aron Runarsson (1 save).
- As the clock ticked down to the final seconds, Thiam launched a long range shot that deflected off the crossbar. On the rebound, the ball bounced off Runarsson and Harris sprinted into the box and drove the eventual game-winner into the bottom right corner of the net.
