SETTING THE SCENE
The Catamounts put their 13-game winning streak, which is tied for the fourth-longest active streak in the country, to the test against the Wildcats. With a win on Thursday night, Vermont will post its best 27-game start in program history. The green and gold are one of six programs in the country with an undefeated conference record, one of four teams with at least 10 league wins, and the only school in New England with an unblemished conference mark. In America East play, UVM leads eight statistical categories and has four of the top overall shot blockers in Anthony Lamb (30), Drew Urquhart (20), Kurt Steidl (17) and Dre Wills (17).Â

TOPS IN THE REGION
Vermont continues to dominate the win tally among Division I programs in New England. UVM's 21 wins are five more than Rhode Island and seven more UNH and Providence. Northeastern, Yale, and Boston University follow with 13 victories.
Â
TALLY THE VOTE!
The Catamounts' 13-game winning streak helped the team receive a vote in this week's Associated Press Top-25 Poll for the first time since 2006-07. UVM has more victories on the year than 15 teams in the poll. Among the nation's top mid-major programs, the green and gold were ranked No. 10 this week in the Mid-MajorMadness.com Power Rankings. The Cats are in a similar position with the No. 11 spot in the CollegeInsider.com Mid-Major Top-25 Poll.

LAST TIME OUT |Â Binghamton Highlights
The Catamounts were dialed in from three-point land by making 9-of-17 attempts (52.9%) in a 71-57 America East win over Binghamton on Monday night. The green and gold extended the fifth-longest active winning streak in the country to 13 games. Ernie Duncan drained 6-of-8 attempts from long distance to lead all scorers with 18 points. Payton Henson shot 6-of-11 from the floor for 13 points and came down with five boards. Darren Payen netted 11 points to round out three Catamounts in double figures. Payen was a perfect 5-for-5 from the field and has made 13 of his last 14 field goal attempts.
SCOUTING NEW HAMPSHIRE
The Wildcats come into Thursday night on a three-game skid after winning their previous three contests. Overall, New Hampshire leads the league in three-point percentage defense (33.2%), offensive rebounding (37.7 rpg), and defensive rebounding (28.2 rpg). Behind only Vermont, New Hampshire ranks second in America East with the second-lowest overall scoring defense (65.9 ppg allowed). Tanner Leissner is the sixth-best scorer at 17.7 points per game against conference rivals. Leissner is also one of the top rebounders in the league at 7.4 rebounds per game - good enough for third among the top America East big men. Daniel Dion has been tearing conference teams apart with four 20-point outings.
SERIES HISTORY
Vermont leads the all-time series with UNH, 99-48, which dates back to 1906. Since 2001-02 season, UVM is 34-6 against the Wildcats and has not lost at Patrick Gym since the 1999-00 season. The Cats have also won 18 of the last 21 meetings and John Becker is 10-1 in his career against UNH. If UVM can reach the win column on Thursday, it will be the first time UVM has recorded 100 wins versus one opponent.
