Lori Gear McBride earned her 100th career win as the Catamounts downed Central Connecticut State 79-63 in their home opener on Nov. 13. Vermont held the Blue Devils to 28-percent from the field and 6-for-24 from 3-point range.

LAST TIME OUTVermont fell to the Bryant Bulldogs 68-52 at the Chace Athletic Center on Saturday afternoon in game two of its three-game road trip. Bryant picked up its first win of the season for a 1-2 record as Vermont dropped to 1-2.

Robertson set the tone for the Catamount offense with a team-high 14 points, going 4-for-5 from the foul line, and Smith recorded six rebounds. Â Â
SCOUTING BROWNBrown is off on a perfect 4-0 start this season with wins against Bethune-Cookman, Providence, Morgan State and Mount Ida. As a team, the Bears are averaging 79.7 points per contest.

Freshman Erika Steeves has led the Bears' freshman class in the frontcourt averaging 12.0 points and 9.0 rebounds per game. She posted her first collegiate double-double with 14 points and 12 rebounds in the Bears' home-opening win against Providence.

Senior Jordin Alexander enjoyed a breakout season as a junior in 2014-15, earning Second Team All-Ivy honors after posting 15.0 points and 2.5 assists per game. In the Bears' season opener this year, she recorded 16 points on 6-of-12 shooting along with three rebounds and three steals.
SERIES HISTORYVermont leads the all-time series against Brown 4-3 dating back to the 1992-93 season. The last time the Catamounts and Bears met was Nov. 15, 2014 as Brown earned a narrow five-point victory in Burlington in Vermont's season opener.

WHO'S NEXTVermont is set to host the annual TD Bank Classic Friday (Nov. 27) and Saturday (Nov. 28) in Patrick Gymnasium. On Friday, Georgetown and Quinnipiac are set for a 5 p.m. tip-off followed by the Catamounts against St. Francis Brooklyn at 7 p.m. Saturday's consolation game will take place at 5 p.m. with championship action to follow.
