WEST HARTFORD, Conn. – The Vermont Catamounts and Hartford Hawks played to a 1-1 draw at Al-Marzook Field in America East women's soccer action on Sunday afternoon.

Vermont took a 1-0 lead in the 22nd minute.
Sydney Cammeyer's shot from distance sailed over the outstretched arm of Hartford goalkeeper Jessica Jurg and into the upper 90. It was Cammeyer's first career goal.
The Catamounts held the 1-0 lead until the closing minutes of regulation. With 1:39 left, Hartford's Tori Tripp and Julia Carr combined for a give and go in the box and Tripp was able to finish off the play with a slotted shot to the far post past UVM goalkeeper
Ally Ramos.
Hartford out shot Vermont 5-1 in the second half and 4-0 in the first overtime period, but Ramos made several impressive stops and the Catamount defense turned away the Hawks' offensive attack.
Ramos finished the game with seven saves for the Catamounts, while Jurg was credited with four saves for Hartford.
Vermont returns to action on Thursday (Oct. 15) when it travels to UMass Lowell for a 7 p.m. America East match. The game will be streamed online for free via the America East Digital Network at AmericaEast.tv.
