The Catamounts face the hosts in the season opener on Friday (7:30 p.m.) and then take on Appalachian State at noon on Sunday.

Burlington Free Press: UVM men's soccer take on new identity for 2014Burlington Free Press: Eight rookies in the mix for UVM men's soccer James Madison posted a record of 6-10-1 last season and was 1-6 in the Colonial Athletic Conference. The Dukes were picked to finish last in the nine-team CAA Preseason Coaches Poll. JMU returns Bjarki Adelsteinsson and Josh Grant, both were selected to the Preseason All-CAA squad.
Appalachian State moves from the Southern Conference to the Sun Belt Conference this season. The Mountaineers were 4-7-7 overall, 1-4-1 in league, in the final season in the Southern Conference last year.
