Katherine McGinn Hall began working for the Victory Club in September 2005.
She is responsible for membership benefits and fulfillment, assisting with the organization of special events, Victory Club, 50/50 at basketball and men’s hockey games, and alumni and membership communication. Hall is also responsible for executing alumni events within the department.
Special events that Hall has worked on include the Catamount Golf Classic, UVM Athletics Hall of Fame Induction Dinner, Rally Awards, jersey retirements, Men’s Lacrosse 40th Anniversary Celebration, Men’s Hockey alumni events around Frozen Fenway 2012, Vermont Men’s Hockey 50th Anniversary Weekend, Vermont Men’s Soccer 50th Anniversary Weekend, Victory Club 10 Year Celebration, Tom Brennan Court Dedication, 40th Anniversary of Title IX, and the Tarrant Center Groundbreaking and Block Party.
Hall has assisted with planning for Vermont’s involvement in America East and NCAA Tournament games, NCAA Selection Shows and alumni gatherings around these events, most consistently with Catamount Men’s Basketball NCAA appearances.
She is currently the Vice President of UVM’s Staff Council and within Athletics serves on the External Relations Team, Rally Awards Committee, and UVM Weekend Committee.Â
Previous responsibilities in UVM Athletics have included serving as co-advisor of Student-Athlete Advisory Council (2011-17) and co-creator of the Catamount Mentor Program which paired student-athletes with alumni for career direction and advice. In 2015, Hall led the process of reclassifying donor benefit levels with fair market value assessments for UVM Foundation tax receipt purposes in collaboration with the UVM Foundation. She has also served on Events Team, Development Team, NCAA Legislation Review Committee and various search committees for colleagues, including coaches and administrators.
Prior to joining the Victory Club, Hall worked with the Boston Bruins in the team's marketing and community relations department. She also worked in the Bentley University Athletic Department as an undergraduate.
Hall is a graduate of Bellows Free Academy (St. Albans, Vt.) and Bentley University where she majored in information design and corporate communication and was a member of the women's lacrosse team.
She earned a master's degree in public administration at the University of Vermont in May of 2012.
A native of St. Albans, Vt., Hall now resides in Colchester with her husband Nicholas and children, James and Mary Jane.
