Kat Paradis was hired as an Athletic Trainer at UVM in August of 2023 and works with the swimming and diving program.
Originally from Saratoga Springs, NY, Paradis earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Athletic Training at the University of Vermont in 2016, and a Master of Science in Athletic Training from California University of Pennsylvania in 2018.
She was previously an athletic trainer at St. Michael's College for five years, working with men's soccer, men's ice hockey, women's lacrosse, men's and women's cross country, and men's tennis.
Prior to St. Michael's College, she was an Athletic Trainer at St. Bonaventure University in the fall of 2018 working closely with women's soccer and women's lacrosse. In 2017-2018, Paradis, was a graduate assistant athletic trainer at California University of PA working with women's soccer and softball. Paradis spent the 2016-2017 school year as an Athletic Trainer at Mamaroneck High School, covering a dozen boys' and girls' sports.
Paradis is an At-Large ambassador for Morgan's Message, a licensed Athletic Trainer in the state of Vermont, a board-certified member of the National Athletic Trainers Association, and a licensed Athletic Trainer in the state of New York.
