Cipicchio enters his second season as an Assistant Coach with the women's program after a recent stint with Far Post Soccer.
During the 2022 season Cippichio served as an Assistant Coach with the UVM men's soccer program and primarily worked with Vermont's goalkeepers. Vermont finished the 2022 campaign with a 16-4-2 (5-1-1 AE) mark – it's second-highest win total in program history. The Catamounts matched several program records including consecutive shutout games (7). Vermont held opponents scoreless for 792:44, the longest run in program history.
The Columbus, Ohio native was the Director of Soccer Operations for UVM in 2021. He played a key role in Nate Silveira becoming the third America East Goalkeeper of the Year in program history. The Catamounts were America East Champions in Cipicchio's first season with the program.
Cipicchio also worked with the goalkeepers for Norwich University in 2021. He is also Director of Goalkeeping for Far Post Soccer Club. Cipicchio has earned United Soccer Coaches Level 1 and 2 Goalkeeping certifications.Â
Cipicchio played collegiately for Brown, and started in all 17 games as a senior, posting an 8-6-3 record with six shutouts. Cipicchio ranked second in the Ivy League in save percentage. He was a four-year varsity player at Worthington Kilbourne High School and was an Ohio All-State member, prior to his collegiate career. He also played club soccer for Columbus Crew Soccer Academy.
