Giancola '22 rejoins the Vermont women's lacrosse program in 2023 as an assistant coach after a four-year playing career with the Catamounts.
Giancola was a two-year captain and multiple-time All-America East member during her playing career at Vermont. As a captain, Giancola helped lead the Catamounts to their first ever America East Championship, scoring the clinching goal in the come-from-behind victory over top-seeded UAlbany. The Canton, Conn. native scored UVM’s final two goals in a three-goal outing and was named the America East Championship’s Most Outstanding Player.
During her offseasons, Giancola helped with the Connecticut Dodgers Lacrosse in 2017 and 2018. She also helped coach 802 Lacrosse while in Vermont.
