A 2009 graduate of Toronto Metropolitan University (TMU), Nich Hall is in his 16th year at the University of Vermont and third season as the Assistant Athletic Director for Broadcasting and Communications.
Hall oversees Vermont's sports information, media relations, and all streaming and broadcasting efforts.
Hall majored in Radio and Television Arts at TMU in Toronto, Ontario. In 2009 after graduation from TMU Nich interned in Athletic Communications at UVM. He developed CatamounTV as Vermont’s home for video content for its 18 Division I sports. In 2010 Hall was named the Video & New Media Manager and served as the primary media contact for Cross Country, Track & Field and Women’s Hockey. In 2012 Hall became a full-time staff member at UVM and was named the Director of CatamounTV.
Nich served as Director of CatamounTV for six seasons and served as Vermont’s liaison with ESPN as the Catamounts began broadcasting men’s and women’s basketball contests to the worldwide leader in sports. In the summer of 2018 Nich and Pete Estes received the department’s Staff Excellence Award for a unit for their work with CatamounTV
A native of Hamilton, Ontario, Hall currently lives in Colchester with his wife Katherine, son James and daughter Mary Jane.
