SOPHOMORE SEASON (2023-24):
- This season she earned four top 15 finishes including a seventh place finish in the 200 fly against Northeastern (1/13/24) with a time of 2:14.82.
- She earned a season-best second place finish against Siena (1/14/23) in the 200 fly with a time of 2:13.51.
- At the 2024 America East Championships she set a season best time in the 400 IM (4:38.41), the 200 fly (2:09.98) and the 200 IM (2:12.38).
FIRST YEAR SEASON (2022-23):
- She earned her first career collegiate victory in the 200 fly finishing in a time of 2:12.62.
- At the NJIT Invitational she placed second in the 200 fly with a time of 2:11.25, ninth in the 400 IM with a time of 4:47.97 and 12th in the 200 IM with a time of 2:18.57.
- At the Harold Anderson Invitational she set a season-best time of 4:41.38 in the 400 IM and she placed fifth in the 200 fly with a time of 2:08.54.
- At the 2023 America East Championship, she placed 19th with a season-best time of 2:08.22 in the 200 fly, set a season-best time of 2:11.62 in the 200 IM and set a season-best time of 4:37.14 in the 400 IM.
BEFORE VERMONT: Attended Chantilly High School in Virginia … Participated on the swim team from 2018-2022 … Captained her high school swim team during the 2021-22 season … Her main events include the Fly and IM … Chose UVM because of the opportunities the undergraduate program offers her to follow her passion for work in the future … Intends on majoring in Communication Sciences and Disorders with a minor in Special Education.
PERSONAL: Daughter of Katie and Jeff Schuman ... Brother Ben attends Pittsburgh … Was named to the National and Math Honor Society with a 3.9 GPA Academic Letter.
